Cookie policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

We use very few cookies on campisismarbella.es: the technical ones the website needs to work and to remember your choice and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies, to understand how the website is used. On our reservations page, TheFork's booking module also uses its own cookies. This policy, prepared in accordance with Article 22(2) LSSI-CE and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guide on the use of cookies, explains what they are and how to manage them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They make it possible, for example, to remember your preferences or to know how many people visit a page. In this policy, the term "cookies" also covers similar technologies that store or read information on your device.

Depending on their purpose, cookies may be technical (needed for the website to work or to provide a service you request) or used for analytics, personalisation or advertising, among other purposes. Technical cookies are exempt from consent; for all others, we ask for your permission before using them.

Cookies we use

CAMPISIS SL, the owner of this website, is responsible for the first-party cookies.

Technical cookies (strictly necessary)

campisis_consent

  • Owner: campisismarbella.es (first-party cookie)
  • Purpose: remembers whether you have accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so that we respect your decision and do not ask you on every visit.
  • Duration: 12 months.

Website technical storage (service worker)

  • Owner: campisismarbella.es (first-party)
  • Purpose: stores in your browser a copy of the website files and the pages you visit, so that the website loads faster and you can keep browsing it if you lose your connection. It does not store personal data.
  • Duration: renewed with each new version of the website; you can delete it in your browser settings.

_ga

  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4)
  • Purpose: distinguishes users by means of a random identifier, to produce usage statistics.
  • Duration: 2 years.

_ga_<container-id>

  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4)
  • Purpose: keeps the session state; <container-id> is the identifier of our Google Analytics property.
  • Duration: 2 years.

We use Google Analytics for statistical purposes only: we do not use it to show you advertising or to build advertising profiles, and we never send it your name, email address, telephone number or anything you type into our forms.

We do not use advertising or social media cookies. Visitors do not receive login cookies either: the session cookie of our internal content management panel exists only on a separate web address reserved for authorised staff. Links to Google Maps, social networks or delivery platforms take you to third-party sites, which apply their own cookie policies.

Third-party cookies on the reservations page (TheFork)

Our reservations page includes TheFork's booking module, which is loaded from TheFork's servers (widget.thefork.com) in a frame embedded in the page. When it loads and while you make your booking, TheFork may set or read its own cookies in your browser: for example, the datadome cookie of its protection service against bots and fraudulent use, and the cookies it needs for the booking to work. These are TheFork's cookies: you can check which ones it uses, for what purpose and for how long in TheFork's cookie policy, available on its website.

How to accept, reject or withdraw your consent

The first time you visit the website, we show you a notice where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. Until you accept them, we do not load Google Analytics or send any data to Google.

This notice does not control the cookies of TheFork's booking module, which TheFork uses when the module loads on the reservations page. If you do not want them to be set, you can block cookies from thefork.com in your browser and book by phone on +34 951 21 97 72.

You can change your mind at any time via the Cookie settings link, available on this page and at the bottom of every page of the website. If you withdraw your consent, we will stop using analytics cookies from that moment; you can delete any that are already stored from your browser.

We keep your choice for 12 months. After that period, or if you clear your browser's cookies, we will ask you again.

How to manage cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that if you block all cookies, we will not be able to remember your choice.

Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab) for the most common browsers.

Google and international transfers

Google Ireland Limited processes Google Analytics data as a processor on behalf of CAMPISIS SL. Google may transfer the data to the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Google LLC participates, and by standard contractual clauses. Google Analytics data linked to your browser is kept for up to 14 months.

Updates to this policy

If we add new cookies or change their purpose, we will update this policy and, where necessary, ask for your consent again. If you have any questions, write to us at info@campisismarbella.es.
