Turkish Doner Kebab in Marbella

Our Turkish döner is a yaprak döner made with beef and the fatty part of the lamb: marinated for 36 hours, stacked by hand on the spit and carved with a knife. It is one of the specialities on Campisi's Halal Menu at Marbella's Puerto Deportivo marina.

The meat carries its supplier's halal label. The restaurant does not hold its own halal certification and is not a fully halal establishment: our main menu includes pork and the stone oven is shared. We explain the details below.

Halal-labelled beef and lamb

We make our döner with beef and the fatty part of the lamb. Like all meat on our Halal Menu, it carries its supplier's halal label.

Döner opens our Halal Menu, where we bring together Campisi's authentic Turkish cuisine: döner, köfte and clay-pot specialities, alongside plancha-grilled meats, pizzas and pasta.

How we make it

It is a yaprak döner, a döner made of thin layers: the meat is hand-sliced into thin leaves, marinated for 36 hours and stacked by hand, leaf by leaf, on the vertical spit.

When you order, we carve it with a knife.

How it is served

We serve it on a plate: 200 g of döner with Turkish rice (pilav) and tomato and onion salad. Fries on request.

Halal preparation

All meat on our Halal Menu carries its supplier's halal label. We cut halal products with dedicated knives and cook them on a separate plancha, and we use dedicated gloves and tongs for halal pizzas.

Transparency: the stone oven is shared with our main menu, which includes dishes with pork. The restaurant does not hold its own halal certification and is not a fully halal establishment; if you have any questions, our team will be happy to help. Find out more on our Halal Menu in Marbella page.
